This Christmas, the De Vierschaar Foundation is presenting a brand-new theatre experience. In collaboration with het Markiezenhof , they are introducing ‘De Vierschaar Vertelt’: an atmospheric, surprising and intimate performance that takes visitors on a journey through a magical winter tale.
The very first winter story that De Vierschaar is publishing this December under this new concept is ‘The Little Match Girl’.
On a cold winter’s night, there is a knock at the door of story collector Noël’s fairy-tale library. It is a girl selling sulphur sticks. She vanishes just as quickly as she arrived, and Noël decides to follow the girl on her journey through het Markiezenhof.
Rest assured, the story has a happy ending and ensures that everyone will leave het Markiezenhof in high spirits.
