Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide is a 6,000-hectare cross-border nature reserve with heathland, fens, shifting dunes, meadows and forests. The ecological and cultural-historical values in particular make the area unique. There is a robust, boundless nature reserve that benefits animals such as the smooth snake, nightjar and woodlark. Ossendrechtse Duinen, Noordpolder and Moretusbos are also part of the National Park Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide.
