Oude Stadhuis
The City Hall is an amalgamation of three separate buildings. In 1611, the town hall received a new façade built of Gobertan stone. The motto 'Mille Periculis Supersum' (a thousand dangers I overcome) recalls the city's role in the Eighty Years' War. Today, the Oude Stadhuis is used for council and committee meetings, conferences and is a popular venue for weddings.
Opening hours
- Open from 26 April 2026 to 31 October 2026, Tuesday to Sunday from 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm.
From 1 November 2026 to 26 April 2027, open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm.
