Museum Wings over Woensdrecht is part of the Woensdrecht Aviation Heritage Foundation. The foundation monitors and shares the history of aviation in the region. The museum has various objects, documents and (digital) film footage from World War II, such as about the German occupation of Woensdrecht airfield and the liberation by the Allies. There are also items on shot-down aircraft and the "V1 flying bombs" that were mostly on their way to the port of Antwerp in 1944-1945.

Do you cycle the Liberation Route Bergen op Zoom? Then make an interesting stop at this museum. There is also an overview map of Woensdrecht in Wartime, on which you will find all historical locations from World War II.
