Landgoed Mattemburgh
Mattemburgh is one of the most special country estates in Brabant and located at a place where the high sandy grounds merge into the much younger sea clay grounds. The history of Landgoed Mattemburgh goes back to the time of French rule, when Mr P.J. Cuypers bought the grounds. The garden was laid out in several phases between 1843 and 1878: first the English garden around the villa, later the inner garden and then the beautiful French garden with Orangery. The Fürst-Puckler bed, the flower bed in front of the villa, is the only one in the Netherlands!
Regular guided walks take place across the estate and inside the villa.
You stroll around the estate in style and dine in the former orangery!
Hiking There are 2 hiking trails through the forest area. The gardens, Park Forest and Orangerie Mattemburgh are freely accessible.
