Bergse Heide
Landscape park De Bergse Heide arose on drifting dunes pushed up from the southwest by centuries of influence of the prevailing sea wind.
Now the sand is held together by mixed forest. The great contrast between higher dry wooded sandy peaks and the lower humid clearings provide plenty of habitat for a great diversity of plants and animals. There are many facilities to explore for both active and passive recreation.
