The Brabantse Wal is home to two cemeteries where soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom are laid to rest. The Brabantse Wal Military Cemeteries Visitor Centre brings their stories to life and introduces visitors to the history of the Second World War and the meaning of freedom.
Commemoration and information are central to the visitor centre. Through stories, historical information and educational activities, visitors gain an insight into the events that took place during the war and their impact on today’s society. Freedom may seem self-evident, but history shows that this is certainly not the case.
