Klaas van der Eerden

Having made his hugely successful return to the theatre over the past two seasons with *Blijven drijven*, born entertainer Klaas van der Eerden is now back with a brand-new cabaret show: *Imperfect*. Because let’s be honest: life only gets really interesting when it’s not quite right.

In *Imperfect*, Klaas embraces everything that grinds, squeaks and creaks – and doesn’t quite go to plan. With his characteristic energy, he storms across the stage in a whirlwind of personal anecdotes, physical gags, musical highlights and razor-sharp observations. Nothing and no one is spared – least of all himself. Does he really have to cross the border for a new hairline? Are those sporty, slim neighbours really happier? And how do you act at a party as if that sugar-free cake is actually delicious?

Just like in his previous show, it will be an evening full of pace, surprises and, above all, lots of laughter. But anyone who knows Klaas knows that he can also touch your heart in between the laughs. Behind the bravado and the hilarity lies a sincere outlook on life. For it is precisely in our clumsiness, doubts and failures that the finest humour is hidden.
