Meezingspektakel

The country’s most interactive and humorous sing-along spectacle is coming to town!

Anyone who follows the news in the papers, on TV or online cannot fail to notice: these are turbulent times. And that is precisely why it is time for cheerfulness, light-heartedness and… singing along at the top of your voice!

And where better to do that than at THE SING-ALONG SPECTACLE? A show where worries fade away for a while, where laughter reigns supreme and where everyone is invited to make their voice heard.

The irresistible trio De Wannebiezz, together with a special showmaster and the four top musicians from the backing band B!K D!EL, will bring the theatre to life with a parade of timeless hits. More than 50 songs spanning 50 years of music history are sung at the top of everyone’s lungs, both on stage and in the auditorium. To make it easier to sing along, the lyrics are projected onto a large screen. From lovely ballads to swinging pop classics, from rock & roll to even a quintessentially Dutch polonaise: it’s all there. Nothing’s off limits, everything’s allowed – except sitting still. The audience isn’t just invited, but simply challenged to sing along at the top of their voices.

But that’s not all: an enthusiastic local choir will be joining in to provide extra vocal power, and the audience can use their smartphones to help decide which songs are sung. This means no two shows are ever the same.

A chance to take your mind off things for an evening and think about something else – many people see THE SING-ALONG SPECTACLE as a mini-break. In short, it’s a musical celebration of familiarity, where everyone—young, old, experienced or ‘off-key’—joins in and, above all, has a great deal of fun.
