Classic Hits in Concert: The Best of the Top 2000

Classic Hits In Concert has built up an impressive track record since its launch in 2018. Over the past six years, the concept has proven its worth, with growing audiences at every venue where they perform. Last year, during the tour, more than 10,000 tickets were sold across the Netherlands. In 2025, their home town of Venlo sold out four evenings in under two hours!

December is known as the month of the legendary charts featuring the greatest classics of all time, including, of course, the unmissable Top 2000. This annual highlight is a festival eagerly anticipated by many music lovers. Classic Hits In Concert is the event that adds an extra dimension to the large-scale ‘celebration of familiarity’ broadcast across various radio stations.

A large band comprising more than twenty talented musicians puts on a full-length show in ever-changing line-ups. The performance takes the audience on a journey through ultimate sing-alongs, as well as surprising gems from the Top 2000. The evening is entirely dedicated to timeless pop, rock and soul classics from the very biggest charts.

Classic Hits In Concert also features songs you wouldn’t necessarily expect to hear performed live. It’s a mix of familiarity and surprise, always woven into a captivating narrative. Evergreens, one-hit wonders, iconic guitar solos and hidden gems follow one another in rapid succession. A tribute to the pioneers who have remained at the top of the charts for years, with the aim of recreating the original performances as faithfully as possible.

The songs played are always a surprise, which is one of the concept’s strengths. The repertoire can range from Tom Petty to ABBA, Tears for Fears to Pearl Jam, Fleetwood Mac to Foo Fighters, Bowie to the Beatles, or Aretha Franklin to Tina Turner.

This full-length evening spectacle is the ideal way to round off the year or kick off the new year in style, adding that extra musical and festive touch to your reunion with friends and acquaintances.

Classic Hits In Concert is a colourful show full of dynamism, thanks in part to seven singers, each with their own vocal sound, alternating with each other. The vocalists are supported by an experienced group of top musicians and impressive visual elements, working together towards a grand final chord.
