Kikker is Kikker

From September 2026, Theater Terra will be presenting the new family show *Frog is Frog*, a cheerful and heart-warming theatrical adventure full of humour, relatable moments and music. When Frog hears his friends listening to Rat’s exciting travel tales, he begins to doubt himself. Rat has the most amazing adventures, Duck can fly, Little Pig is a brilliant baker and Hare reads the most wonderful stories. But what can Frog actually do?

Determined to be just as special as his friends, Frog tries his hand at all sorts of things. He tries to fly like Duck, bake cakes like Piglet and even learn to read like Hare. But nothing seems to work out quite as he’d hoped.

His friends discover that Kikker has gone missing and realise just how important he is to them. They immediately set out to find their green friend and do everything they can to bring him home again. Gradually, Kikker realises that whilst he may not be able to do everything his friends can, he has something far more important: he is just right the way he is.

‘Kikker is Kikker’ is a heart-warming family show for everyone aged 4 and over, full of music, humour and friendship, based on the much-loved stories by Max Velthuijs. In the recognisable style of Theater Terra, puppetry, music and colourful design come together in a heart-warming theatrical adventure for the whole family.
