Scheldefestival 2026: Django Wagner & Senna

The Scheldefestival promises to become an annual highlight in the city. A festival entirely dedicated to the ‘levenslied’ – that recognisable, often moving Dutch-language music that brings people together. During the Scheldefestival, local talents, regional favourites and well-known artists from across the Netherlands and Belgium will take to the stage. Together, they will deliver a programme brimming with sing-alongs, goosebumps and the unique sense of conviviality that only the ‘levenslied’ can bring.

The festival is a celebration of the city, together with the city. Residents, visitors and artists come together to celebrate the rich Dutch-language music culture. For its second edition, ‘ Gebouw-T ’ will form the vibrant heart of the event. But the ambition goes further: who knows, perhaps in the coming years the Scheldefestival will expand to include several locations across the city, so that the whole of Bergen op Zoom can join in the fun!
