In the past two theatre seasons, the music of the iconic 'American Recordings' was the focus of Def Americans Johnny Cash Tribute. Now they focus on the greatest hits from the rich repertoire of Johnny Cash, the legendary Man in Black. It's good to be back on the Road Again!

More than half a century after Johnny Cash's first hits, this band from Brabant knows how to capture the atmosphere, swing and rebellion of a performance by the legendary American outlaw. Consequently, the band has since built an impressive live reputation on the club and festival circuit, as well as successful theatre tours throughout the country.

Whether it is Johnny's work at Sun Records, the prison records, gospels, duets with June Carter or the 'American Recordings' series, Def Americans succeeds in breathing new life into the songs that Cash himself knew how to perform with so much love and inspiration. Cash's work spans almost 50 years from beginning to end and, in the hands of Def Americans, remains intact by portraying its unmistakable sound with sincerity and authenticity without losing sight of The Man in Black's raw and rebellious edge.
