A church with an eventful history. Upon entering through the new entrance on the Grote Markt, the impressive interior is striking. The works of art, monumental organs and 17th-century confessionals with beautiful Mechelen carvings make a visit to this church more than worthwhile. And do you like a challenge? Then climb the Peperbus, the tower of the church. After a climb of 183 steps, you will be rewarded with stunning views over the city. During the climb, you can take a rest and visit the torenkamer Gradatus.

Children under the age of 5 (or smaller than 1 metre) are not allowed to climb the Peperbus for safety reasons.
