Sinterklaas lantern parade
On the last shopping evening before the big Sinterklaas party, the city centre is decorated by a string of thousands of lights. It is the lantern parade that passes through the streets. Along the route, various musicians make it extra cosy: DJ Piet, the Danspieten and the Zangpieten and you will also come across HyaSint. The Saint walks in front on horseback together with Hoofdpiet.
At the end of the route, around 20:00, the well-known Sinterklaas songs will be sung at the kiosk at Thaliaplein.
Bring your own lantern or buy one at the stall on the Beursplein this evening.
