Bastiaan Ragas

Bas Ragas is back – and this time he’s getting even closer.

Following the resounding success of the theatre production *In God’s Name*, his television hit *Bijbelen met Sterren* on the EO and his bestseller *Jesus, Why?*, Bas Ragas is touring the country with a brand-new show. He presents theatre that moves you, provokes you and turns your beliefs on their head.

A journey back to antiquity, the Bible stories that have travelled with us for thousands of years and which, time and again, prove to be incredibly beautiful, clever and thought-provoking. Bas sings the finest songs by Elvis, Toon Hermans and Elton John, asks uncomfortable questions and gets close to the audience – both literally and figuratively.

And whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned believer or a sceptical observer who wants to see what all the fuss is about, *Jesus, Why?* takes you on a journey like you’ve never experienced before.

Enough hesitating – it’s time for even more questions.

The press previously wrote about his show: “It’s not cabaret, not a theatre production or a musical performance. So what is it? One big, irresistible temptation.”
