The mixed choir Bekóór and the Royal-chartered brass band Eendracht Maakt Macht (EMM) will be performing a joint concert this afternoon. As temperatures begin to drop at this time of year and the evenings grow longer, it is important to enjoy spending time together with family and friends. Both ensembles bring the feeling of warmth, comfort and togetherness to life through music, under the motto ‘Eigen Haard is Goud Waard’ (Home is Worth Its Weight in Gold). This theme is no coincidence, as both Bekóór and EMM rehearse at the Eigen Haard community centre in Borgvliet. They are joining forces for an atmospheric afternoon full of beautiful music, variety and surprises.
