Historic and iconic buildings are opening their doors to the public this weekend. A unique opportunity to take a peek behind façades that normally remain closed.
This year, there is a special focus on De Heen, where remarkable monuments and their associated stories take centre stage. A varied programme has been put together across both villages, featuring guided tours, exhibitions, music and activities for all ages.
Visitors gain access to places that are normally inaccessible or only accessible to a limited extent, enabling them to discover the history and character of Steenbergen and De Heen. In addition, a number of heritage sites in Dinteloord and Nieuw-Vossemeer will also be opening their doors.
