Exhibition ‘Everything is Change’

On display in the historic Sugar Factory is a collection of works spanning more than twenty years of artistic practice. Anne-Mie Gers’ work is a continuous quest to discover what can emerge beyond form and material. She works with natural materials such as lime, loam and natural pigments, in which colour, texture and matter play a key role.
For her, the creative process is at least as important as the final piece. Through experimentation, exploration and, at times, simply allowing the material to take its own course, she creates works that appear to be in a state of constant flux.

‘Everything is Change’ invites visitors not only to look at art, but also to reflect on movement, transformation and the transience of materials and forms.
