Things to see - City walk
By means of the brochure Stadswandeling (town trail) Bergen op Zoom, available from the counter of VVV Brabantse Wal at 2.50 Euros, you may discover the historical inner city by yourself. If you combine the city walk with the Monumenten ID (ID for heritage buildings), you can also access all heritage buildings and climb the church tower for just 4.00 Euros (not including admission to the Markiezenhof).
The Momumenten ID is available at the VVV and the heritage buildings. For larger parties you may book a city walk with a city guide of Stichting Bezichtiging Monumenten. Staff at VVV Brabantse Wal will gladly assist you to prepare a tailor-made walk. In the months June through September, it is also possible to join a guided city walk leaving from the Oude Stadhuis (Old City Hall) at Grote Markt (Market Square) at 14:00 on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons.
