The Brabantse Wal roughly consists of the municipalities of Bergen op Zoom, Steenbergen and Woensdrecht. The Brabantse Wal is bounded by the province of Zeeland and that’s why we say, rather romantically but also because the coast of the Easter Scheldt river and the North Sea are so close: the Brabantse Wal, where Brabant kisses Zeeland! (the Dutch words ‘coast' and ‘kisses’ are identical)
